NO MORE DOWNTIME

Above: Craig custom bucket equipped with double thick wear bars, rebuild indicator cheek plates, upper cheek plate, step tooth base edge, replaceable base edge extensions, inner liner and extended thrust blocks.

What does an excavator attachment failure really cost?

There's the service truck, the parts, the labour, operator downtime, loss of productivity... hey is that it?

What about the logistics? What about the truck that's not loaded, the ground crew sitting idle, the loss of service backup for another machine, the snowball effect on the production schedule... In today's demanding 24hr work cycle there is no way to "make up" lost time! Once it's gone, it's gone...

It's pretty apparent that when a bucket fails, the cost is exponentially larger than the cost of the repair. So ask yourself, is a cookie cutter 'standard bucket' right for my jobsite? We think not. That's why Craig is dedicated to custom attachment solutions.

An effective custom design is a balance between machine production (bucket capacity), bucket life (materials) and cost. When done correctly these three critical elements come together to give you the very most from the machine custom fitted to the exact working conditions and demands of the project with a minimum of downtime. Supplier relationships, manufacturing flexibility and experience are the tools that you can tap into when 'off the shelf' isn't good enough. Craig has been providing custom worksite tools for more than 65 years now. If you haven't already, talk to your Craig dealer about how a custom development partnership can improve your uptime and your bottom line. The cost of failure is simply too high to ignore.

SURVEY: THANK YOU FOR YOUR FEEDBACK!

Folks, you are awesome.

Last month we sent out a survey to you, our customers, and we couldn't be happier with your feedback. We had an exceptionally large response rate (almost 30%) and were pleased that so many of you had such positive things to say.

There were also some of you that offered some honest criticism. We've heard you and we're taking it to heart to spur new ways of working and internal policies to serve you better.

But enough with the niceties right!? WHO WON THE LOBSTER!?

We're pleased to announce that JOHN DOE from ACME EQUIPMENT is our winner and will be receiving a case of fresh New Brunswick lobster by Air Courier.

Thanks again for your support with this project.
