New Craig Dual Grab Bucket
The new Craig Dual Grab Bucket is the newest member of the grab bucket family. This heavy-duty bucket features 2 independent thumbs with their own cylinders and interlocking teeth. The DGB is the perfect tool for land clearing and demolition job sites, it has the most powerful gripping force in the grab family!

TENNESSEE & HARTLAND SHOP UPDATE
Lots of exciting updates to our Hartland and Tennessee shops! Our Hartland Shop has received and new break roll and Acupress to keep up with our fabricating department and allowed us to send down some of our equipment to our newest branch to expand their capabilities.
Careers PageHAITI – WATER LINE PROJECT WITH WISH
It started back in 2010 when a former employee contacted us to see if we could make a “concrete form” out of steel in order to build 24’ concrete poles for electrical lines. That project expanded into using concrete poles to support water lines that are being upgraded/replaced due to years of deterioration and damage from soil erosion and unstable ground.
One of the many challenges facing this massive project is the safety aspect and the installation time with only a 30 year old John Deere backhoe, a farm tractor and trailer to work with. Collaborating with our contact on the ground (Robin Churchill) we came up with the “Concrete Pole Positioner” that clamps onto the pole, supports it weight and places them into a hole dug by the backhoe.
While working on the project we also determined they needed a more efficient means to dig trenches for waterlines. That is where the trapezoid bucket came into play, which allows the backhoe to move less material, digs faster and minimizes damage to streets, pathways and infrastructure.
WISH is a non profit, inter-denominational mission organization who provide multiple levels of services and support to Haiti. Craig Manufacturing is looking forward to seeing our gear in action and has been honoured to work with WISH in this truly important service that it provides to over 40,000 residents in the town of Anse-à-Galets.
