The Craig Rotating Thumb features a rotary actuator that provide the forces necessary to grab and hold the material. Delivering up to 180 degrees of consistent grabbing forces throughout the buckets rotation while providing superior holding forces as you move and place material.

  • Up to 180 degrees of consistent grabbing power
  • The grabbing (driving) force is on par with a conventional thumb
  • However the holding force with a rotary actuator is superior to that of a conventional thumb
  • Benefit of having the Craig Rotating Thumb mounted to the machine is the ability to use it with multiple attachments, as opposed to having the rotary actuator and thumb built into a single attachment only
  • Another great benefit with this design of thumb is no exposed cylinder shafts
  • Thumb weldment can be custom designed to suit your bucket
