It’s our Anniversary!
75 YEARS OF SERVICE
2021 is an exciting year for us as it is our 75th anniversary! Wood Craig opened shop in 1946, starting as a service station and machine repair shop. It was not long before he put his training to work and began fabricating with metal. The business grew and expanded from snowplows, to ferries to the big machine attachments we make today. John joined the family business 30 years later in 1976 and Ben joined in 2006. The business expanded to Ontario and Alberta and in 2019, Tennessee. Now Craig Manufacturing services all of North America!

The v-shape trench bucket is the perfect bucket for pipe laying in rocky/fractured ground conditions. The bucket shape also reduces the amount of bedding material that will be required in the trench thus reducing the cost to install pipe.

Our Tennessee branch continues to show growth, we added a vertical turning center and additional cranes. With additional equipment and welders, the shop in Lawrenceburg is a proud addition to our company!
